Based on the press release posted on October 5, 2006, Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) acquired W. H. Linder & Associates, Inc., therefore forming Jacobs Linder. This acquisition includes both the Houston, Texas and Metairie, Louisiana offices of Linder as wholly owned divisions of Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. Jacobs operates from two major locations on the U.S. Gulf Coast (Houston and Baton Rouge), and serves their oil, gas, refining, chemical, and aerospace clients from those locations.
